text-color-rgdb-color\" ><\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The Blockchain technologies in the heart of Thessaloniki &#8211; The 1st Blockchain Conference was held with a great participation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>The first in presence conference on Blockchain technologies in Greece is now a fact! With its central motto &#8220;Unlocking Blockchain&#8221;, the 1st Blockchain Conference sought to unlock the technologies of the future, being a reference point for the world of encryption. The CHAISE project was a partner of the conference.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/blockchainconference2022.gr\/\">1<sup>st<\/sup> in presence Conference on Blockchain<\/a> technologies in Greece, was held on Tuesday 21 June \u00a02022 at the Grand Hotel Palace, in Thessaloniki, with great success and the participation of hundreds of professionals, researchers and students.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/insuranceinnovation.gr\/\">Insurance Innovation<\/a> conference was a meeting opportunity for more than 240 lovers of digital currency technology and NFTs who eagerly attended the interesting and comprehensive speeches of the 18 speakers. The participants had the opportunity to be informed about the new market trends but also to come in direct contact, exchanging views and knowledge with international and Greek experts. At the same time, 1350 online participants watched the conference livestreaming, commenting and asking questions to the speakers.<\/p>\n<p>In the special section of the conference \u201c <strong>Blockchain in Education<\/strong>\u201d, <strong>Mr. Dimitris<\/strong> <strong>Kiriakos, Director of DIEK Egaleo<\/strong>, presented the <strong>CHAISE &#8211; Blockchain consortium<\/strong>, a <strong>Sector Skills Alliance, financed by the Erasmus+ programme<\/strong>, which responds to the growing demand for education on Blockchain and technology skills in distributed ledger technologies (DLT) across Europe. As Mr. Kiriakos explained, the main mission of the CHAISE project is to develop a strategic approach on blockchain skills development for Europe.
