CHAISE Final Event

22 May 2024

On 22 May 2024, the CHAISE final event took place as side event of Blockchain Horizons, INATBA’s first Academic and R&D Forum. The event marked the culmination of the four-year EU-funded project and featured a round-table discussion on the future of blockchain education.

The event opened with a short introduction about the project given by CHAISE Coordinator Parisa Ghodous, Professor of Computer Science at University Lyon 1, followed by an overview of EU Commission’s work on Blockchain and DLT Technologies provided by Pierre Marro, Policy Officer, European Commission (DG CNECT). Then, CHAISE consortium representatives showcased the main project’s outputs and results as well as the consortium plan for the long-term sustainability of the project.

During the Q&A, the audience had the chance to ask and discuss more in detail how CHAISE tackles the mismatches in the blockchain skills market and provide inputs on how CHAISE could engage with other relevant initiatives in the blockchain field to enlarge and keep its community updated on project-relevant topics.

In addition to policy and project discussions, attendees had the opportunity to experience a live demonstration of the CHAISE Blockchain Skills online course, navigating the Thinkific MOOC platform that hosts it and participating in various exercises of the course.
