CHAISE at the 36th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE)

On 7 June 2024, CHAISE representatives presented the CHAISE paper titled CHAISE: A Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on Blockchain Skill Development at the 36th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE) in Limassol, Cyprus.

During the conference, CHAISE coordinator Parisa Ghodous, Professor of Computer Science at University Lyon 1, presented an overview of the project and the selected paper. Following this, CHAISE consortium representatives showcased the project’s outputs and results, highlighting the achievements from the first three years of implementation.

Specifically, the presentation offered an in-depth look at the project’s main outputs, including:

  • A forecasting mechanism to anticipate future blockchain skill needs
  • An institutionally validated European Blockchain Skills Strategy
  • The CHAISE Blockchain Skills online course
  • A blueprint for a VET qualification on Blockchain and DLT

The presentation also illustrated CHAISE’s contributions to information systems research, the consortium plan for the project’s long-term sustainability, and the implications for the future of blockchain skill development.
