The CHAISE National Information Day for Luxembourg was held on 24th September at Luxembourg’s Office City Sarl. The event brought together attendees from the education, research, industry, and government sectors in Luxembourg to showcase the project’s results and discuss their uptake.
The event kicked off with the project’s introduction provided by an introductory speech by CHAISE project coordinator, Prof. Parisa Ghodous, who detailed the CHAISE objectives and main results. Attendees were then introduced to the CHAISE blockchain skills course and its learning materials and had also the opportunity to discover the course learning paths and their certification process , which were developed to accommodate the skills and knowledge needed for each of the emerging job profiles identified through the skills needs and demand analysis performed in the project, namely Blockchain Developer, Blockchain Architect, and Blockchain Manager.
The event continued with a presentation given by Emilie Allaert, Head of the Luxembourg Blockchain Lab, who provided an overview of the Lab objectives, activities and collaborations. The presentation was followed by a live demonstration of the CHAISE Blockchain skills course available on the Thinkific MOOC platform. by Dr. Raimundas Matulevicius.
Finally, Dr. Adnan Imeri, from LIST (Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology), presented relevant research and projects focused on blockchain and other key enabling technologies.
The presentations were succeeded by an lively discussion on DAOs, EU regulatory framework and interesting use cases, including EBSI Trace4EU and EBSI Vector.
In conclusion, the workshop provided participants with an in-depth understanding of blockchain technology and of CHAISE resources.
