CHAISE National Information Day for Estonia

On 12 June, CHAISE National Information Day for Estonia was held as part of the ‘Cyber Innovation 2024 Tartu’ conference. The event attracted attendees from various sectors, including education, research, industry, and government institutions in Estonia.
The first part of the event showcased the CHAISE objectives and main results. Attendees were given an overview of the blockchain curriculum, training platform, lectures, exercises, and study materials. The session also covered the paths to achieve blockchain specialisations including blockchain administrator, blockchain architect, and blockchain developer. Additionally, attendees learned about certification opportunities for each job profile.
The second part, a workshop on teaching blockchain technology, was dedicated to blockchain training. Representatives from CHAISE partner University of Tartu explained the fundamentals of blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT). They also covered the main blockchain components and characteristics, as well as security risks associated with blockchain-based applications.
In addition to the theoretical knowledge, participants experienced a hands-on demonstration of how to write decentralized applications (dApps). In sum, the workshop offered participants a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology. CHAISE thanks everyone who attended the event and workshop.
