18-20 November 2020: Kick-Off meeting of the CHAISE project

On 18-20 November 2020, the CHAISE project was officially launched during a 3-days kick-off meeting gathering all 23 project partners. Due to COVID-19 circumstances, the meeting was held online and hosted by the CHAISE coordinator, UCBL.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Pavol Krempasky from the European Commissions’ EACEA, the CHAISE Project Officer, and by Mr. Pierre Marro from the European Commission’s Unit on Digital Innovation and Blockchain. Both of them highlighted the strategic importance of the CHAISE project and encouraged the CHAISE partners to do their very best to provide Europe with blockchain skills.

The Kick-Off meeting allowed the partners to get to know each other and to discuss CHAISE’s scope, aims and structure, to clarify the partners’ role in the project and to align on Work Packages and project tasks. During each session, active discussion took place, enabling the consortium to understand project requirements and co-shape the way forward.

All partners left the meeting very enthusiastic snd excited to work collaborately on a European Blockchain Skills Strategy and on future-proof blockchain skills in the four years to come.
