The first meeting of the CHAISE Expert Advisory Board took place online on Friday 5 February 2021.

The CHAISE Expert Advisory Board is a group of experts in the Blockchain field, nominated by CHAISE partnership organisations to provide technical and scientific support to the project. Their primary mission is to overview and assess the progress and outcomes of the European Blockchain Skills Strategy.

The CHAISE Expert Advisory Board is made up of 17 experts and representatives from industry, education, policy making, civil society and scientific communities from 15 European countries.

The first meeting of the Expert Advisory Board, chaired by Professor Parisa Ghodous (CHAISE Project Coordinator), was primarily devoted to demarcating the Blockchain sector in Europe and discussing sectoral developments and market dynamics. The discussion also revolved around the upcoming skills intelligence gathering activities (WP2), with Board members pinpointing potential challenges and setting the directions for data collection activities.

The next meeting of our experts is scheduled for October/November 2021.
