On 26 and 27 May, the 23 partners of the CHAISE partnership met at the second consortium meeting of the project, 6 months after the Kick-Off meeting.

Originally intended to be organised as a physical event by ECQA in beautiful Austria, the meeting had to be held online due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. It was hosted on Zoom by the project coordinator, the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.

Despite not meeting face-to-face, the engagement and collegial attitude of the CHAISE partners allowed the two-days meeting to be efficient and fruitful. The meeting’s purpose was to reflect on the activities of the first 6 months of the project and take stock of the achievements, as well as to discuss the upcoming activities.

During the meeting, Work Package leaders presented the activities undertaken under their Work Package during the first semester, describing achieved milestones and results. The workplan, tasks and responsibilities of the next six months were also thoroughly discussed, in order for all partners to be aligned on the forthcoming activities.

Some space for informal discussions was also provided via Zoom breakout sessions. It was the opportunity to get to know each other in a smaller group of partners.

All partners praised the excellent collaboration of the partnership as well as the coordination and left the meeting with a renewed motivation to achieve the project’s ambitious goals.
